Giro d’Italia Giovani Under 23 Enel, the 14 selected foreign teams have been announced

The 14 foreign teams participating in the Giro d’Italia Giovani Under 23 Enel, from 13 June to 23 June 2019, have been selected. The invited teams come from 11 countries. The international Under 23 top riders will be racing, allowing the best Italian talents to grow through a competition with the best Under 23 worldwide.

 

 

The 14 foreign teams participating in the Giro d’Italia Giovani Under 23 Enel, scheduled from 13 June to 23 June 2019, have been selected. The requests submitted to the organiser were more than 14, showing great interest in the “Giro U23” all around the world. The invited teams come from 11 countries: Austria, Belgium, Colombia, France, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.

In 2019 the Giro d’Italia Giovani Under 23 Enel consolidates its international vocation. The international Under 23 top riders will be racing, allowing the best Italian talents to grow through a competition with the best Under 23 worldwide. Last year, the winner was the Russian Aleksandr Vlasov.

The 15 Italian teams (and an additional interregional riders’ selection) that will complete the starting list at the Giro d’Italia Giovani Under 23 Enel are going to be selected according to a ranking based on merits that will take into account the points acquired during the selection time (1 January – 12 May 2019), thus ensuring a highly qualified participation.
